Breath of Zehir

Davy Jones

After cleaning up the city and helping the local officials, the group gets a hint on a possible lead for Ghuladon. They head out to a bar to find their contact, Stavros Twotalon. They fight a few lurkers which seem to have followed them and gain a new ally, Bamwin. Twotalon agrees to bring them to a meeting with his master, the blue dragon Balnaratorrimar, in exchange for the dark skull of Naki. They reach the island and have an interesting conversation with Balnaratorrimar as they are the ones to tell him that his master and all other dragons at Tiamats Teeth have been removed. He heads out to check for himself and the group embarks on the mission to attack Davy Jones. The battles goes well but in the end, Davy Jones narrowly escapes.

Impressed by their efforts, Balnaratorrimar gives them a ring and tells them that Tiamats Teeth are protected by wards which prevent the dragon’s return. He tells them that if they can remove these wards, then he’ll be able to help against Ghuladon. The party sets out once again to the town of Orspring through the Vulcan river. Shortly after disembarking, they meet up with Professor Plum who agrees to make them passes into the city in return for not killing him. Meepo also makes an appearance as Plum’s apprentice. Once inside the city, the group finds that it is almost completely occupied by devils who hail to the dark god Asmodeus, though any mention of his name or other gods is forbidden. The group splits off multiple times to find transportation to Tiamat’s Teeth and Aranis and Jett meet with Kharl to attain a mount. The rest of the party meet with Robbie Herriot who runs the local animal shelter. Both are put off by each other and wish to have the other removed. After a few close run ins with the guards while the party decides who they want to eliminate, they find themselves at the entrance to Kharl’s black market, ready to take out the giant Neogi.

The party finally met Ghuladonkaranamis after taking out some restrained zombies. She had taken over Brahm the Shining and had a heart to heart with Aranis before the battle began. All four unaccounted for paladins were there. Gabriel, Ian the Brave, Sterling the Just, and Brahm the Shining. Brahm the Shining proved quite difficult since he had a diffused damage aura to the other two dragonborn. All of which were vampiric resurrections of their former selves. Through much intensity, the party finally brought down the two and concentrated on Brahm the Shining. The party was planning to consecrate the area until Ghuladonkaranamis left his body and floated away to fight another day.
